Various types of tenders are available in the German market, including those available at the European level. We actively participate in these opportunities, leveraging different forms of collaboration.

In tender participation, partnerships can be a subcontractor arrangement, where a company provides specific services under the main contractor’s umbrella. Alternatively, a consortium is formed when multiple companies submit a combined bid, pooling their resources and expertise. In collaboration with Primaris, an IT consultancy provider, we created a consortium to maximize our strengths and competitiveness.

The challenge

Participation in a tender for a framework contract for robotic automation with a planned annual budget of 2 million euros for an IT service provider responsible for health insurance companies. This requires technical expertise and strict compliance with German requirements, including ISO certifications and GDPR.  Furthermore, most IT service tenders in Germany, including this one, are governed by the EVB-IT Dienstleistungsvertrag (Supplementary Terms and Conditions for the Procurement of IT Services). This standard service delivery agreement ensures consistency and clarity in service procurement, adding another layer of complexity to the bid.

Consortium Formation:

Recognizing the need for a robust partnership, Craftware teamed up with Primaris Services. We combined our expertize with Primaris consultancy power. This strategic move expanded our collective capabilities and aligned our resources with the project’s demands.
